Walter was great and very helpful with everything. I was visiting McMaster University so the location was perfect! Check in and check out was easy and the room was clean.

The room was perfect for my needs — a single bed, a usable desk, closet space with some hangers, a decent shower, and nice kitchen area with plenty of fridge space.

We had a very good 1 night spent at Walter’s place. Walter was very attentive to our needs and the overall experience was well-organized. Very we-situated for McMaster students.

My stay with Walter had been very pleasant. The room, kitchen and common area is as described, clean, with all the necessities and Walter was always within reach to answer any questions. The public transit bus stop is within a minute walking distance outside his home. The surrounding area has restaurants, a bar, a convenience store and a coffee shop. I would definitely stay with Walter again.

I had a great time at Walter’s. I had a nice room with a single bed. Although certain spaces were shared, it felt very private. Walter went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable.

Great location for McMaster. Walter was very helpful and was there to provide keys and answer questions for a late arrival. Parking worked out well in the driveway. All the basics were well provided for. The other tenants were quiet and everything went smoothly. Shower was great. Would stay there again.

Beautiful place renovated by the landlord, nicely maintained he has turned this house into a home! You’ll be lucky to find accommodation like this or an landlord like him.  Walter is an outstanding host, being quick to reply to any issues and always asking if there anything more he can do to keep you happy.  Great location with the bus stop just outside the door and McMaster just down the road. My stay ay 165 Emerson has more than exceeded my expectations!

Exactly as described, location was good, shopping mall and McMaster U in walk distance, library and theatre is 10 minutes if ride bike.

Good landlord, great location and well maintained property.

The house is bigger than it looks on the outside, it has 8 bedrooms spread over 2 floors (each floor has its own bathroom and kitchen). I believe the rooms on the main floor are a bit more expensive but I would say its definitely worth it. My room was nice, enough space and view on the back yard. I also appreciated was the house’s location: if you’re studying at McMaster you can easily walk to campus or otherwise take the bus that stops right before the front door. Hamilton’s city center is also close by bus. Another plus is the convenience store that opened just across the street before I left — great people and yummy subs!

Ample appliances, furniture & storage space; clean & newly renovated; and a great location makes 165 Emerson an ideal place for short or long-term stays. The landowner was very friendly and accommodating, and was always looking for ways to improve the place.

Landlord is very nice and helpful. I will definitely consider staying with this accommodation in the future.
